Goodweald naturally smoked from the traditional cheese dairy.

A hard farmhouse cheese that has been naturally smoked over oak chippings and is bason on a old British Farmhouse recipe. The cheeses are maturaed for about two months at the Tradional Cheese Dairy, before being smoked at the award winning Weald Smokery, where it is kept in kilns for about four days. It is then returned to the cheeserooms at the traditional cheese dairy for a further month, giving enough time for the flavour to fully develop.

    A wonderful cheese, very moreish so much so, that I consumed the whole piece when I had planned to 'taste'.
